The Blackmore Vale Vet Team is committed to providing professional and compassionate care for your pets. Constant investment in new equipment, facilities and staff training enables us to provide an excellent standard of RCVS accredited Veterinary medicine and surgery.

The current practice building was purpose built in 1972 and has since then been regularly extended! The waiting room has a separate cat waiting area and we are working towards our IFSM cat friendly accrediation.

We have two consulting rooms, to offer more flexible and convenient appointment times. We have a purpose built operating theatre for surgical procedures, and a separate prep room with anaesthetic machine for dental descales and dental surgeries and other minor procedures. We offer comfortable heated kennels for all sizes of companion animals. We also offer some residential feline accommodation.

We have modern anaesthetic monitoring machines which are routinely used during procedures to increase safety under anaesthetics. The machines include capnography, ECG, constant temperature monitoring, oscillometric blood pressure and pulse oximetry. This technology is frequently used to assist with other cases.
